As a middle child of five, I quickly learned how to carve and follow my own path. Creativity, curiosity, and passion for personalized style naturally cemented in me at an early age. My name is Liv Lott, and I follow these childhood traits of mine within everything I do. 

 

Intrigued by a new adventure, I traded in Lake Michigan for the Atlantic and moved nearly 1,000 miles from home for college. I am currently a senior at the College of Charleston, majoring in Communication with a minor in Marketing. My educational and professional experiences have been varied, chasing my interests to Grecian nonprofits, student ran music festivals, White House press events, and beyond. Most recently, I chased it all the way to Florence, Italy for a semester studying luxury fashion, wine marketing, and traveling everywhere I could get a flight to. 

 

My relentless curiosity has put me in several different roles, but above all I consider myself a storyteller. I believe in the power of making stories matter to others and advocating for the ones that seldom get told. Utilizing my strengths of strategy and empathy to do this, I was recognized and inducted into the College of Charleston Hall of Leaders for my efforts on campus. 

 

Currently, I am a commercial marketing intern at Le Creuset, sharpening my corporate skills and learning what it takes to maintain relevancy as a global heritage brand. Long term, I hope to spend the majority of my career writing about my passions in a city where the people are interesting and the fashion is chic.
